For the domain, Votel recommends doing it for them. Ask for their login to their domain registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap and so on) and follow the copy and paste DNS instructions yourself, so a busy business owner does not have to do technical work. Sometimes the previous web person is gone and nobody has the password, which can take some digging.

For the phone number, the business owner has to decide. Their name, address and phone number should stay consistent for local listings and Google Maps, so businesses usually keep the same number. Either they forward calls to your AI agent (all calls or only after hours), or you port their number into Votel and the AI answers and forwards calls to them when needed. Both work, depending on their preference.
